It's been a while since I've done an art post. Probably because it's been a while since I've done any art. But I did some in August, so here we go.

Randomly decided to draw my Gaia Online avatar. I'm not too big a fan of the site, but I do like the whole virtual paper doll thing.

The finished piece, with the avatar for comparison. I decided to try out cell shading with this, and while it's better than my attempts at the style in the past, I still need to work on it.

Sketch of Fletcher, an old tree-spirit rp character of mine. Some color palettes for him can be seen here.

Really quick sketch of Cybersix, my official favorite superhero.

Someone on Gaia saw the art I did for my avatar and requested I draw their dream avatar. I was feeling nice, so I went ahead and did it. Here's the first sketch I did for that project.

I kind of hated the way the first sketch came out, so I used some reference from PoseManiacs and changed some stuff. This was the sketch I wound up using for the finished piece.

The final version. Really need to work on cell shading.

I'm kind of thinking of starting a game on LJ that features original characters being drawn to this weird costume bar that makes them address an big issue in their life. I'll probably talk more about it later, but for now, here's some rough sketches of the two people that oversee the bar, The Owner (the woman) and Socrates (the man).

Another sketch of The Owner and Socs. I wasn't satisfied with The Owner's face and body shape in the first one. This one is closer to what I picture in my head, and is modeled a bit off of Christina Hendricks. Not too pleased with Socs in this one, though. And The Owners right arm is... gah.

And finally, my current team from Pokemon SoulSilver. For this game, I've been trying to force myself to regularly switch my team around, so that I don't wind with a team made up of pokes that I caught within the first few hours of game play. The team currently is Jill the victreebel, Tamaki the teddiursa, Jethro the magmar, Truffle the piloswine, Geoff the girafarig, and Hollow the murkrow.
