Heeey, hope everyone had safe and happy holidays! Oddly enough, this year was wonderful in my house. No big meltdowns or anything. I think it helps that my sis has a steady career-like job and is taking some meds (she's bipolar. Seriously. To the point that she has two emotions - really happy and really depressed), so she's not stressed out like she was in college. Which is great, y'know?

My family used to spend christmas with my mom's brothers and their families, but once all the cousins started going to college and my grandmother died, we stopped that tradition. Now we see a movie on christmas day. We saw Seven Pounds, which was... okay. The story was good, but it took waaaay too long to get to the plot. And it was really easy to see where it was going with it. I would have preferred to see Frost/Nixon or Milk, but, eh.

I finally have some new games for my DS! (I've only had Pokemon Diamond since I bought the DS) Now I have Pokemon Ranger, Mystery Dungeon (blue team), Phoenix Wright: Justice for All (is this the sequel or the first one? I can't tell), and Apollo Justice. Played a bit of PW, but stopped right at the first cross-examination because it was midnight and I didn't feel like yelled at my DS. Pokemon Ranger was kind fun, but the character designs are kind... Kingdom Hearts-y, which I don't really care for. And FUCK, SOLENA, PUT ON SOME GODDAMN PANTS. Mystery Dungeon is ADORABLE. I think it's the cutest game I've ever played. I'm a mudkip in it, and my partner is a Torchic named Pecho. adkfdlkf so cuuuuute.

Oh, and I have a top hat now. :3 I can be dapper. Maybe I'll get some pictures up.

Anyways, happy holidays to everyone! I've got some art I need to upload, so I'll get to that soon.

I'm a Mudkip, too! |D Man, I should get a new DS so I can finally finish that game! I got stuck because it's really a bad idea to have the same type disadvantage as your partner!

About PW, you've got a sequel. The first is just Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, then PW: AA - Justice for All, and finally PW: AA - Trials and Tribulations. Oh, and then Apollo Justice after that.

THEY'RE ALL GOOD TO PLAY but if I recall that game correctly you'll be wtf-ing a little bit about Edgeworth and Von Karma.

Mystery Dungeon is so adorable. I actually started tearing up when I got kicked out of the little village, but my fans showed up and told me they believed in me. X3 So cute.

And I thought it was the sequel. Ah well. I was actually going to buy the games myself, but no matter where I looked, I couldn't find anything but the Apollo Justice games. But with the whole 'Phoenix has amnesia' thing at the beginning, it's not too bad.

That game is enough to kill a person with cute! x3 Your partner especially is just so devoted and sweet and awww. Even when I chose the discouraging conversation options.

Ah, yeah, those games are surprising hard to find, considering how good they are. I haven't been able to finish the series (stupid broken DS) so I can't actually vouch for Apollo Justice, but I guess just keep an eye out for the others while you enjoy the ones you've got, right?

Honestly, I think my partner might be a little gay for me. >.> 'I'm happy for you, Amred! Not for anyone else!' Just... d'awwwwww.

I was able to find some used copies of PW:AA on Amazon... but a bit more then I'd like to pay for a used game. So I'll probably just check whenever I go to Target or something.

Also, your icon is hilarious.

I've heard that the sequel is just as good, although I haven't played it myself. I keep hoping to find Explorers of Darkness used, but it's always Time in the stores! Must... have... Mewtwo...!

If you want I can lend you my copy of AA. The games don't really have a lot of replay value, I'm afraid, so if you can find someone to lend them to you I do recommend it. I only bought mine because no one else I know owns them ...well, and I obsessively collect things I like. :B

I love this icon. XD It's a product of [livejournal.com profile] pokemonathon.

:< I've never met Mewtwo in any of the games I've played. I just never got that far.

I think I'll just keep my eyes out for the game. If I find it, that'll be great, but it's okay that I'm playing the sequel first.

Oh my god, that community looks awesome. I might just got and apply to it.

Weeeell, to be fair, there's not much to meet in most of the games. But. I will enjoy the what, four lines of dialogue that they give the recruitable Pokemon? :B I am such a dork.

Check places the sell used games, if you can. Like I said, once it's been played through there's not a lot that you can go back and do, so someone might have just sold it after they were done. It doesn't hurt that it's cheaper, either!

Isn't it a great idea? I would have joined, but I really don't have the devotion to produce a good drawing of every Pokemon. My lazy sketches wouldn't match the sheer amount of excellence there. I content myself with ogling the community in admiration.
