I finished watching all of Firefly a few days ago. Why was this show cancelled? I loved it, it was amazing. I'll try not to let it influence AegBalk TOO much.

Since I finished that, I felt I should go on to another sci fi series that I dearly loved - Batman Beyond. I miss this cartoon a lot. It really was what got me hooked on Batman, and with Dark Knight coming out tomorrow, I felt it was appropriate. Oddly enough, though, after watching a bit of it, I realized two things; 1) Terry killed a lot of people in this series. By episode 4, he's murdered five people without any remorse. Wow. And 2) for the first time in years, I want to play a canon character in an rp. I want to play Terry. I just... need to. Kinda like how everyone wanted to play an Ironman character after the movie, I want to play Terry.

Anyone know any good rps were I could satisfy this itch?

I never realized that about Batman Beyond, but now that I think of it he did kill a bunch of people. And old batman never said anything about it really.
I might be going to see the Dark Knight tonight :D I hope it's as good as it looks!

Very very early Batman (like, the golden age comics) had him kill a few thugs. But he never killed a villain, because the writers always wanted to bring villains back. So, a some point, Batman took a vow never to kill anyone.

But in Beyond, Terry is just murdering people left and right. Heck, in the movie after the series, he finally destroyed Joker.

I'll probably see Dark Knight in a few days, after the crowds have died down. It looks great, but I'm getting tired of all the hype.

I never knew there was a Batman Beyond movie. I should download it or something.
I said I'm going to see it tonight, but probably not. I'm going with 3 friends, but all of them are at work now, and I don't have enough $$ to buy 4 tickets. If there are still tickets left at 6 or 7 I might go, but some time next week sounds better to me now :)

Yeah, 'Return of the Joker'. It was basically to explain why Batman retired.

I've learned from Harry Potter releases to never go to a movie opening night. It's always insane.
