i hate sewing

I've been doing some experimentation on faces with old characters. (Read as: Redesigning because I'm bored) I'm trying to get to the point at which each character has an individual face, with signs of age and stuff. So, I played around with an old rp character of mine. On the left is the original character sheet, from october 2006. On the right is a quick doodle, from April 2008. Progress is awesome.

This weekend was a nice one. Which is good, because last week was really stressful. On Saturday I didn't do much of anything, except sleep and use the computer and stuff. On Sunday, I got to visit X, which is always cool. We basically wandered around the neighborhood and talked about pokemon and lightsabers. He hadn't had any lunch (I'd already had two toaster waffles and a slice of pizza - so healthy) so we went into this little asian restaurant by the supermarket. It's been there as long as I can remember, but I've never been in. Anyways, we got some chow mien and sesame chicken, which were both really good. I got to watch Cold Case and Dexter, which also rocked. And I finally got to start reading Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. The weather is warming up, so I can start wearing my english trench coat again, and that's always good.

The only really dent in the weekend was when I went shopping for some new pants. All my pants are falling apart, and a sale was going on at some place down in the mall. So I found a pair of pants that fit me fine around the waist (size 4). I got two pairs, because I don't have enough pants. Well, it wasn't until I got home and took the tags off and washed them that I realized that they are, in fact, about four inches too long in the leg. And that the size 0 had been just as long. So, now I have to totally re-hem them both, and figure out some way that the cuffs won't look stupid or messy, since they're rather nice semi-dress pants. Blah.

I need to start looking for a job.
