Mar. 11th, 2010 08:04 pmHoly jeez I've got an envi sci midterm tomorrow and then an art history midterm on friday. And then spring break. Man, this semester went by fast. I think it may have been because I didn't have to read a bajillion novels in eight weeks, though.
So, I'm joining a national honors society. At first I wasn't really sure if I wanted to get involved in one, because the one at my high school didn't really do all that much. But then I took a look into the stuff this group does, and they work with a lot of really good organizations, like Boy's and Girl's Club and Big Brother Big Sister. I went to a pre-induction meeting tonight (it was the sort of thing that you go to to learn about the group and see if you want to join). Everyone was really nice and enthusiastic, and everyone is really academically minded, like I am. I've been having trouble meeting anyone here, and this group does a lot of stuff I'm interested it, so I'm going to go for it and join.
