Meet Z5, an alien character I created long ago and got around to redesigning. I also wrote up a bio for her.

Here would be the bio. It needs a bit of work, of course but it's the basic idea.

Name: Z5X9-YQ4, more commonly known as Z5

Age: about three and a half earth years

Species: Genetically enhanced DEC

Gender: none, but as Z5 looks more like the female DECs then the males, female pronouns can be used when referring to her.

Appearance: Z5 stands about six feet tall from the ends of its ears to the bottom of its feet, and 3 feet across from the tip of its nose to the end of it's fully extended tail. It face is elongated and ends in a point, like a deer or elk, with one large milky eye on either side of its face. It has no nose, but a small round mouth, with a long tongue. Large, flat ears extend from the top of its head, curving back slightly. Its neck is rather long, connecting to a rather straight body. Four arms come from its torso - two from the shoulders, and two from the sides of its abdomen. The arms have no fingers or wrists, and thus resemble tentacles from the elbow down. Its legs have two knees, the top bending forwards like a human's, the lower bending backwards. Its legs end in large, three toed feet. It has one prehensile tail, ending in a four-fingered 'hand', which it uses primarily to grasp things with. It is white in color, save for black markings along its arms, shoulders, thighs, and back. While the arm markings are simple bands, the others are wide vertical stripes. On these stripes are vertical rows of pale blue circles.

History: Z5 was one of many genetically enhanced DEC clones. Like her many siblings, she was made to enhance the DEC's natural physical strengths for battle, such as hearing, running, and tail use. Z5 was one of the less successful experiments, and was found unworthy of being in the planet's military. However, in DEC society, it is considered a moral offense to kill a fellow DEC, so she would not be terminated. Instead, she was dropped on a rim planet with her tail-hand bound, and officially exiled from her home planet. She had no real reason to return, so she resigned to pointlessly wandering the universe.

Strengths: Z5 has naturally strong legs, which allow her to jump up to twenty feet in the air, as well as run at very high speeds. Her hearing is also very powerful, allowing her to hear pitches most humans cannot, as well as hear tones from up to 100 yards away. But by far, her strongest attribute is her tail, which can pick up objects, throw, grasp, and even wield firearms. She is also fair strategist.
Weaknesses: She has very low stamina, and can exhaust herself very easily. De to this, she tends to sleep often, and tries to stay away from demanding physical activity. Also, its sensitive hearing can sometimes be more of a burden then a gift, as loud noises can cause her pain. As her tail is bound and she has no other fingers to remove the cuff, she cannot use the hand at the end.

Other: She has no teeth, and therefore cannot chew. Thus, she only intakes liquid food. She has no sense of smell and limited sense of taste, so she will eat most any liquid food. She also cannot speak, except for making small screeches and clicks. To communicate, she uses a kind of reverse telepathy. Instead of reading other people's minds, she projects her thoughts into them. Experience has shown her, however, that this makes some uncomfortable, so her usually uses a series of gestures and expressions when 'speaking' to strangers. Her arms are rather useless, but she does tend to use the lower set more dominantly, usually keeping the upper set crossed over her chest. She is also color blind.
