I drew a freaking TON of art this month, so it's time for monthly art post, whoo!

First off, some sketches of animals. Corgis, squirrels, and two kinds of lemurs. I did these to help me understand anatomy for my redesign of my alien species, the Sansani.

Aaand here is the fruit of those labors! My final redesign of the Sansani, compared to the previous designs. Yeah, studying animal anatomy REALLY helped.

Some sketches of my Sansani character Zhiai'kahn Ahl, for use in her rp journal. Not sure if I'll use all of these.

Page of doodles from my sketch book. Starting at the top left, going clockwise: Zhiai with goggles, Rei rolling his eyes, Zhiai standing on her hind legs, Cyclops (yeah, somehow he made his way on here, not sure how), and Sansani eyes from the front and side.

Supaheroes now! This is Flux, my gravity-altering sidekick character, and his emo girlfriend Amelia.

Raptor and St. Michael, a winged metahuman and a badass normal. They have an awesome bromance. St. Mike is that hero Flux works with.

Rei, whom I've talked about before, being somewhat sexual harassed by Gloria, a blue-skinned ice powered metahuman.

Quick sketch of Brushfire II, my Vietnamese-American electricity-powered superhero.

Gloria again, in a little black dress. I'm happy with her face and torso, but the legs seem off to me.

Aaaand transitioning into some sketches of the characters from the Paper Bird short stories I've been writing. Pin up of Emily, the flower girl who appeared in The Lamp Lighter.

In order: Prof. Sam Flescher, Dr. Borys Frankov, Kahlil Hyaer, and Emily Solomon, all from the Paper Bird stories. Drawn in order of appearance in the stories. I'm trying to work facial recognition - making each character have a distinct, unique face.
So, yeah, that's it. Still, a lot more then I've done in recent months.
In other news, it's been confirmed that the Batman Beyond comic mini-series comes out in June. Aaaaaugh, it cannot happen fast enough!
