so many boys
I think I'm about due for another art post. I've been sketching quite a bit lately, which makes me happy. I think I may have a bit of an artist's block for the last few months, because I just couldn't come up with anything to draw just for the fun of it. Now I seem to be over it, though. So yay! Now, on to the art post.
First up, an emo boy! This is fairly new OC of mine, Andrew Luke, emo kid by day, gravity-manipulation-powered sidekick Flux by night. I've drawn him in his superhero uniform a few times, but never in his civvies, so that's really the whole point for this drawing.
Some more art of my Gaia avatar, just 'cause I keep fiddling with it. Legs are waaay to fucking long here. I don't have much more to say about this.
I randomly decided to draw one of my old OCs. Demie, my goat (well, okay, technically ram) boy that I created waaay back in 7th grade.
More old characters! Demie and his best-friend/house mate/mother figure Elaine. Drawn just because I wanted to draw something cute.
Working on coloring it, here's the flats so far. Elaine's color scheme makes her look a lot like Link. Which is actually intentional - she's a huge Nintendo fangirl.
Eee, sorry this is so big. But, uh, drawing some of my old characters made me want to go back and draw ALL of my old characters, or at least the ones in this particular 'verse. It was really satisfying revamping these characters to fit my new style... especially since back when I was drawing them all the time, everyone had the same face.
Mar, Demie's albino (and slightly mutated, making him more of an actual goat person) older brother. Mar is a heavy metal musician, and is being kind of emo here. Well... he's not really emo, he's just a lot more quiet and penive then his bro. You can see some of his tattoos here, which are: sign for Ares on his left hand, the Hand of Eris and 'Nothing but Chaos' on his left shoulder, a pair of bat wings on his back, and 'BACCHUS' on the back of his neck. He's got some more, but they aren't visible here. Also, painted stripe patterns on his legs.
Demie is also a musician, though he's more into fantasy metal then heavy metal. Their species (fauns) in their 'verse draw power from music, and different music genres have different effects and powers. These brothers both like the power and intensity of metal. Demie also has a few tattoos, but less then his bro - 'BACCHUS' on his chest, a treble clef on his left arm, and the sign for Capricorn on his left hand.
And finally, Demie having a sort-of moment with his kind of-sort of-not really because Demie is way closeted boyfriend, an angel named Genesis. It was really fucking hard to draw those hands.
My car is all fixed now, it was the steering pump that was having problems.
I talked to my adviser today, and I think I might do a minor in geology. Because... it sounds like it would be cool to do. Haven't decided yet, though.
